EPFO launches e-passbook

The Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has launched e-passbook facility that enables members with active accounts to view and generate their account passbooks by visiting >www.epfindia.com .

According to a release, this facility is available to those establishments that had registered through the website, obtained ID and password for filing of Electronic Challan cum Return (ECR) and also submitted Form 3A/6A for the year 2011-12 after updating its accounts up to 2011-12.

M. Madhiazhagan Regional PF Commissioner, Tambaram, urged the defaulting establishments to register for ECR immediately.

This could be done through the link ‘online ECR/challan submission’ on the website www.epfindia.com.
