Online service centres run by the Tamil Nadu Arasu Cable Television Corporation in 254 taluks in the State will help voters add, delete, change or correct their personal details on electoral rolls. Official sources said voters may avail themselves of these services at Rs.10 a transaction.
District Collector, Kancheepuram, V.K. Shanmugam, who inspected the e-service centres in 11 taluks, said the printing of plastic Aaadhaar cards at the centres, introduced in the first week of May, received a good response in Tirukazhukundram, Tambaram and Kancheepuram. The public is unhappy at the disruption of Net connection at the centres.
