The district administration has established an election control room on the third floor of the district Collectorate for providing information related to local body polls to public over phone.
Callers could utilise the numbers 0424 - 2255363 / 2255364 to gather information and convey complaints. The public could also get in touch with designated officials directly, Collector and District Election Officer S. Prabakar said in a press release.
K. Kumaravel, Superintendent / Block Development Officer (9442222129), and K. Subramanian, BDO - Administration (9597064491) could be contacted for information pertaining to rural local bodies, and M. Gunasekaran, Senior Assistant, Town Panchayat Administration, and M. Khadar Masthan, Deputy Block Development Officer - Administration, for urban bodies, the press release said.
