Drawing contest held

A total of 2,500 students from various schools participated in a drawing competition conducted by Sterlite Copper on the theme, ‘Colours,’ at The Vikasa School here on Sunday.

According to a statement, students of First Standard to Plus Two competed under five categories. Cash prize, medal and certificate were awarded to those who secured the top three positions in each category.

The valedictory function was presided over by P. Ramnath, Chief Executive Officer of the company. Superintendent of Police Ashwin M Kotnis, the chief guest, gave away prizes.
