District Science Centre will hold a drawing competition on Sunday to commemorate India’s ‘First Satellite launch Day’. An official statement said India’s ‘First Satellite launch Day’ will be celebrated at District Science Centre here on April 19. The DSC will organise the contest in different categories for the students of Std. I - III on the topic ‘Satellites’ at 10 a.m., and on ‘Indian Satellites’ for students of Std. IV - VI at 10.30 a.m. and on ‘Satellites and its applications’ at 11 a.m. for students of Std. VII - IX.
