The draft list of the socio-economic census carried out in the district in 2013 will be released on April 27 while the final list for rural areas will be released on June 10 and for urban areas on June 17.
Chairing a meeting with Commissioners of all Municipalities, Town Panchayats and Block Development Officers of all Panchayat Unions in the district, Collector V. Dakshinamoorthy said that the survey was carried out in 2013 by the District Rural Development Agency to identify BPL families in rural and urban areas.
The State Government had ordered the administration to release the draft report at the earliest. In case of objections or suggestions, the public can submit filled-in forms A, B and C to the officials between April 27 and May 17. People residing in villages can submit the forms at Panchayat offices, people in Town panchayats can submit in ward offices or Panchayat Union offices while people in town can submit applications at the office of the municipality.
He said that the officer concerned should conduct inquiry and take final decision.
