Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) president M. Karunanidhi will release the list of party candidates for the Assembly elections, on March 16.

According to a party release, a consultation of the DMK's alliance partners will be held on March 18 at Anna Arivalayam, the party headquarters, presided over by Mr. Karunanidhi. The DMK will release the election manifesto on March 19.

In an appeal to party workers, Mr. Karunanidhi said that this time, he would not be able to campaign the way he used to in the past elections. Though his movements were restricted by his physical condition, he would campaign as much as possible for the victory of the alliance.
