The Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam (DMDK) has represented to the Election Commission to ensure that all types of political graffiti put up by the ruling All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) are removed at the earliest.

In a letter to the Commission, a copy of which was presented to Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Praveen Kumar on Monday, DMDK headquarters secretary B. Parthasarathy alleged that the graffiti had not yet been removed, even after the announcement of election schedule by the Commission.

PMK plea The Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) has alleged that 10 reverse osmosis water plants, installed in the Arani Lok Sabha constituency thanks to its initiative, had been vandalised.

The party’s nominee for the constituency, A. K. Moorthy, who has submitted a letter to the CEO, contended that the RO plants were put up well after taking permission from the local authorities and well before the poll schedule was announced. He wanted the Commission to take action against those responsible for the incident.
