Differently abled likely to get jobs

As many as 837 differenly-abled may be able to get jobs in the noon meal centres and anganwadis following the relaxation of the upper age limit for applying by 10 years.

P.Simhachandran, general secretary of the Federation of the Associations of the Differently-abled, says that the National Advisory Council for the Education of the Handicapped has recommended that the existing upper age limit for recruitment to posts in various services for the differently-abled may be raised by 10 years. This recommendation has been considered by the Commissioner for the Differently-Abled.
