Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami on Saturday said the issue of alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party would be taken up only at the time of elections.

“There are no elections now. How can you talk about it? When that occasion arises, we will consider it,” he told reporters in Sunguvar Chatram on his way to Vellore.

On Friday, Dairy Development Minister K.T. Rajenthra Bhalaji said there would be nothing wrong if the ruling party were to align with the BJP for the local body polls.

In a release, M.
