Corporation schools set for a ‘smart’ move

From the coming academic year, students of Corporation schools will feel as much privileged as their peers in private schools.

Digital boards

Teaching-learning process is poised for a transformation with technology integration in the form of smart boards. The digital boards have already been installed in some of the schools in the first phase.

Teachers will be trained for a week after reopening of schools before utilising the smart boards, Corporation sources said.

Such boards with online connection, according to teachers, will be quite helpful in holding the attention of students with visual elements pertaining to the subject being taught.

Teachers of Corporation schools who carry out canvassing during summer vacation for scaling up enrolment say they now have a strong point to convince parents in lower income strata and prevail upon them to choose Corporation schools for their wards.
