Cleanliness campaign reviewed

A review meeting on achieving the goals of ‘Clean Tiruvannamalai’ mission in Tiruvannamalai block was held here.

Assistant Executive Engineer of Rural Development Department Nagaiya presided over the meeting. Block Development Officer T.K. Lakshmi Narasimhan said that in addition to the ₹12,000 subsidy given as unit fund for constructing personal toilets, ₹5,000 each would be given to the members of Village Poverty Reduction Committees set up under Pudu Vazhvu Thittam, a rural livelihood programme.

He urged the officials to ensure goals of clean Tiruvannamalai mission are achieved by December 31, 2017, according to a press release.
