Checks in railway stations

The Railway Protection Force personnel conducted surprise checks in railway stations and in running trains and booked 37 people for various violations and causing nuisance to commuters. The team booked 16 persons for causing nuisance to the commuters, 11 for selling goods without licence, two for footboard travel, four auto drivers for parking their vehicles in the no-parking area, four for travelling in the coaches meant for differently abled. All of them were produced before the Railway Special Court. A fine of Rs. 21,250 was collected from them.
