Tamil Nadu Congress Committee (TNCC) president B.S. Gnanadesikan has said that the Centre was willing to depute its representatives at any time for the proposed dialogue between the fishermen associations of Sri Lanka and Tamil Nadu, suggested by Chief Minister Jayalalithaa.

Addressing a conference after distributing educational assistance to the children of fishermen here on Saturday, he said the Chief Minister had written to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in September to facilitate the dialogue in December, but the Centre was ready for the meet any time.

“The State government can expedite and advance the meeting before December,” he said.
