Cellphone curiosity

The roadside meetings that party leaders address from their campaign vehicles are a sight to watch, if you have that kind of time. Usually the campaign vehicles set out evenings, or late evenings, and do the rounds until 10 pm. And wherever they stop, there is a clutch of people watching and listening, but with their cellphone cameras. Especially after the sun sets, it’s a curious site: Men standing around the vans, aiming their cameras at the speaker, shooting pictures, or more likely, videos to then rapidly upload on Whatsapp and other social media channels.
