Pattali Makkal Katchi founder S. Ramadoss on Monday said the State government should take up caste-wise census in the State as only a small amount will be required.
In a statement, Dr. Ramadoss said the Central government had estimated that Rs.2,000 crore would be needed for taking up the caste-wise census throughout the country and for the State it would cost less than Rs.200 crore.
