Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi today held discussions with chairman of the Backward Classes Commission, Justice M S Janarthanam, on the demand by PMK founder Dr S Ramadoss for caste enumeration in the State.

An official press release here said that Karunanidhi discussed Dr Ramadoss’ demand during their meeting on October 13, but did not divulge further details.

Dr Ramadoss has been making a strong pitch for caste enumeration in the State and had taken up the matter with Mr. Karunanidhi at a meeting at the latter’s office in their first meeting in two years last week.
