Career guidance seminar for students, teachers and parents

A national level career guidance seminar for students, teachers and parents would be held at Mahendra Engineering College campus at Mallasamudram here on April 1.

Organised by Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development in association with ICT Academy of Tami Nadu (ICTACT), eminent persons will address the participants on career development, career planning, selection of course and institution, financial assistance by banks, scholarship programmes and government schemes in higher education. Students of Class X and Plus Two, their parents and teachers can participate in the programme that begins at 9.30 a.m.

B. Asaithambi, vice president, ICTACT, M.G. Bharathkumar, Chairman of Mahendra Engineering Colleges, presides, while K. Swaminathan, Chief Executive Officer of Aspire Ventures, Sivakumar Palaniappan, Founder, Master Minds, are the key speakers. Students from Salem, Namakkal, Erode, Dharmapuri and Krishnagiri are expected to participate and entry is free.

A free copy of career guide will also be distributed to the participants.
