Cadres celebrate one year completion of BJP government in Ramnad

Bursting of crackers, distribution of sweets and offering special worship marked the celebrations of Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) led government completing one year in office at the Centre.

Party’s youth wing, led by its district president R. Manimaran launched the celebrations at the district headquarters here on Tuesday, distributing sweets to general public at the new bus stand area. Listing out the achievements of Modi government, the party cadre burst crackers and raised slogans hailing Prime Minister Narendra Modi. District president M Shanmugaraja and senior party leaders were present on the occasion. In Rameswaram, BJP National Council Member K. Muraleedharan organised a special abishekam and worship at Sri Ramanathaswamy temple, praying for prosperity to the people of the country under Modi’s leadership.

Later, he and town president Muthuselvam distributed sweets to the pilgrims who visited the temple and and general public in the island.
