Muthulakshmi Reddy remembered
The birth anniversary of Dr. Muthulakshmi Reddy was observed here on Friday under the auspices of Tamil Nadu Health Systems Project,. A team of doctors from Singapore, who were on a visit to the town, paid tributes to a portrait of Dr. Muthulakshmi Reddy.
D. Parimala Devi, Dean and Special Officer of the Government College and Hospital, spoke.
At another function organised by Pudukottai City Rotary Club at Municipal Primary School at Tirugokarnam to mark the occasion, K. Desingurajan, president of the club, donated two fans. T. Sivaramakrishnan, president of Parent-Teacher Association, and K. Naina Mohamed, former Charter president, spoke.
