The 12th edition of Tirupur Book Festival, organised by Pinnal Book Trust and Bharathi Puthakalayam, to be held at K.R.C. City Centre here from January 30 to February 8, will have a participation of 105 book publishers and distributors.
S. Muthukannan, secretary of the organising committee, told reporters that 10 per cent price discount would be extended to the visitors and they would have a choice to select from a wide range of topics from current affairs, fiction, novels, history, science, educational books to literary works of contemporary authors.
The fair would be opened to the visitors from 11 a.m. to 9.30 p.m. on all days except on the inaugural day. The inaugural function would be held on January 30 at 5 p.m.
The organisers had planned screening of 10 short films and documentaries on the sidelines of the main book fair.
