Tamil Nadu Congress Committee (TNCC) president Su. Thirunavukkarasar on Friday alleged that the BJP had played a role in freezing the ‘two leaves’ symbol of the ruling AIADMK.

“I had already said that the future of the two leaves symbol was in the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and now it has been proved that the BJP is responsible for freezing the symbol,” he told reporters at Sathyamurthy Bhavan.

Mr. Thirunavukkarasar said that even though it was not the concern of the Congress as to who would get the two leaves symbol, the way the symbol was frozen had proved that there was some intervention from the BJP government at the Centre.
