BJP announces candidates

The BJP on Saturday announced the names of three candidates for the forthcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly elections. The party is the first to have announced its nominees for the election.

While M.R.Gandhi is the candidate for Kanyakumari, P.Ramesh will contest from Colachel and T.Chandrakumar from Killiyoor constituency.

The party national president, Nitin Gadkari, has approved the recommendation of the Tamil Nadu State Election Committee regarding the candidates, the national general secretary and secretary, Central Election Committee, Ananth Kumar, said in a press release.
