Barnala condoles with Husain's family

Tamil Nadu Governor Surjit Singh Barnala has expressed condolences to the family members of M.F. Husain, the renowned painter, who died in London Thursday morning.

Mr. Husain was popularly known as the ‘Picasso of India'. He was a self-taught artist who took Indian art to the global stage with his cubism-inspired modern art. His death is a great loss to the world of art, and creativity in particular, the Governor said.
