Applications invited for training programme

The Agricultural Engineering Department has decided to conduct a one-week training programme for the farmers on drip irrigation, sprinkle irrigation, water saving irrigation equipment and water management in Krishnagiri.

Eligibility

A release from Collector V. Arun Roy said that farmers aged between 18 and 40 can apply for the training programme.

Stipend

Trainees would be paid a stipend of Rs. 300 besides travelling allowance, boarding and lodging as per the rules and regulations of the department.

Interested farmers can apply for the training programme on or before November 25 to the following offices: Assistant Executive Engineer, Agriculture Engineering Department, Cooperative Colony, Krishnagiri for farmers from Krishnagiri, Uthangarai, Pochampalli taluks.

Farmers from Hosur and Denkanikottai taluks can approach the Executive Engineer, Agriculture Engineering Department, Chennathur, Hosur, the release added.
