With over 1.4 lakh application forms for engineering admissions already bought by students in the last five days, Anna University has ordered an additional 20,000 forms to be printed to meet the increased demand.

10 to 15 % increase

A university official said there was an increase of around 10 per cent to 15 per cent from last year for the first five days of issue of application forms.

Though 1.8 lakh forms had been printed by the university, a further 20,000 had been ordered and would be available by the middle of next week to meet any eventuality caused by the increased demand.
