A request was made in the Assembly for celebrating Chief Minister Jayalalithaa’s silver jubilee in the House.
AIADMK member Thanga Tamilselvan said Ms. Jayalalithaa became the member of the Assembly in 1989 and next year she would complete 25 years.
“A function should be organised to celebrate the event,” he said.
