AIADMK leader joins AAP

Bader Saeed, a former MLA, is also likely to contest the coming Lok Sabha elections from Tamil Nadu

A former AIADMK MLA on Wednesday joined the Aam Aadmi Party and is likely to contest the coming elections, the Tamil Nadu unit of the party said.

“Ex-AIADMK MLA Bader Saeed joined AAP TN,” the party’s State unit spokesperson M. Lenin said.

She has joined the Aam Aadmi Party and is “likely to contest in the coming Lok sabha elections as an AAP candidate,” he said in a release in Chennai.

An advocate by profession, Ms. Saeed had represented the Triplicane constituency in the Tamil Nadu Assembly during 2006-11.
