Additional stoppages, coaches announced

For Attukkal Bhagavathi Amman Temple festival

In view of the Pongala festival at Attukal Bhagavathi Amman Temple in Thiruvananthapuram, the Southern Railway has announced additional stoppages and additional coaches for a few trains on Saturday (March 11).

A release from Thiruvananthapuram division said Train No.16724 Thiruvananthapuram Central– Chennai Egmore Ananthapuri Express would stop at all stations between Thiruvananthapuram and Nagercoil.

Train No.16649 Mangalore Central– Nagercoil Parasuram Express would stop at all stations between Thiruvananthapuram and Nagercoil.

Twelve passenger trains running between Nagercoil and Thiruvananthapuram, and Thiruvananthapuram and Kollam would run with additional coaches (18 coaches each from March 9 to 11).

On Saturday, one special train would leave Thiruvananthapuram Central at 14.00 hours and reach Nagercoil at 16.10 hrs with stoppages at all stations en route.

Train No. 56317 Kochuveli– Nagercoil Passenger would leave Thiruvananthapuram Central at 14.15 hrs.

Train No. 16127 Chennai Egmore– Guruvayoor Express and Train No. 16723 Chennai Egmore– Thiruvananthapuram Ananthapurai Express would have additional stoppage at Parasala on March 10, the release added.
