With the period of validity of family cards expiring in December, the government has issued orders for attaching additional pages which would be valid for a year, free. The pages have been printed and given to the districts. Work on attaching them would be taken up in fair price shops from December 20. To avoid crowding of cardholders in the shops, a staggered system would be followed. As per this arrangement, the dates for the cards would be displayed in the shops concerned.
