Aavin reduces ghee price

The Aavin has reduced the price of ghee by Rs. 30 per litre in Salem and Namakkal districts with a view to augment its sales. The reduced price came into effect from May 1.

An official press release issued here on Wednesday said that Aavin here produced ghee, butter, milk powder, mango juice, sweets like Mysorepak, palkova, and market them through its retail outlets in these districts. These products are very popular with the local people.

The special rebate of Rs. 30 per litre will be only for a limited period, the release said.
