The party’s Chennai (Central) candidate, J. Prabhakar filed his nomination on Tuesday.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Tuesday announced candidates for five more constituencies in Tamil Nadu for the Lok Sabha polls, including Tamil Arima, a retired school teacher in Sivaganga.

The list included S. Srinivason, a cricket coach and former Ranji Trophy player, who has been fielded in the Chennai (North) constituency. S. Palanirajan will enter the fray from Thanjavur. The Sriperumbudur constituency has been allotted to S.A.N. Vasigaran, Editor-in-Chief of Chennai Metro , evening news daily. R. Valayapathi will contest from Karur.

Meanwhile, the party’s Chennai (Central) candidate, J. Prabhakar filed his nomination on Tuesday. He had total assets worth Rs. 50.63 lakh.
