“She has submitted a petition to the Jail Superintendent on January 23 seeking parole for six months. The purpose for the application is to make arrangements for her daughter’s wedding. The jail authorities have forwarded it to the Additional Director General of Police (Prisons),” he said, after meeting Nalini inside the Special Prison for Women, Vellore on Saturday.
