MLA goes missing; complaint filed

A 67-year-old retired BHEL employee has filed a complaint with the Papanasam police seeking to rescue the constituency MLA and Agriculture Minister R. Duraikannu from the “clutches of Sasikala and her family”.

K. Mahalingam, who is also an active AIADMK party member, belonging to Vellai Pillayar Koil Street, Papanasam, has alleged that the MLA has gone missing and was believed to have been detained illegally by V.K. Sasikala and her family and filed the complaint seeking his rescue.

Accepting his petition, the Special sub-inspector of Police Murugesan also furnished a receipt acknowledging the petition.
