The sky will be cloudy and the city is likely to receive light rains on Sunday. Several other coastal districts and Puducherry will also receive widespread rains during the day.

A trough of low pressure, which now lies over equatorial Indian ocean and adjoining southwest Bay of Bengal, is expected to bring scattered rain to interior parts of the State.
