Senior DMK leader and Katpadi MLA Durai Murugan underwent a medical check-up at the Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore, after he complained of discomfort in the chest.
According to party sources, Mr. Murugan had left his residence at Katpadi to travel to Chennai when he experienced discomfort. He was taken to the CMC where he was examined by doctors.
Hospital officials said he underwent a check-up and was found to be normal. He returned home, and later left for Chennai, the party source added.
