3-week training programme in financial concepts, analysis

The Micro Small Medium Enterprises-Development Institute (MSME-DI) is organising a 3-weeks (part-time) training programme for those interested in becoming financial analysts.

It will be held at BRK Academy, JP Greenland Apartment, New No .9, 5th Street, Nandanam Extension, Nandanam, Chennai 600 035 from April 27 to May 15.

The event is conducted mainly for the benefit of MSMEs, educated unemployed youths and budding entrepreneurs.

Introduction

The training programme would provide an `introduction to fundamental analysis concepts’, `profit and loss analysis’ and `balance sheet analysis’ with live study through published annual report, capital structure and financial re-engineering, optimizing through cost of capital, concepts of term loans, ratio analysis, various methods / instruments for raising term loans with rating methodology, concepts of equity funds, types and methodology to raise these funds with valuation techniques, documentation and preparation of information memorandum, says a press release from K. Kandasamy, Assistant Director (G & C), MSME-DI.

The training would enable participants to take up self-employment, jobs in MSMEs, MNCs and in corporates as analysis/adviser. Government of India certificates will be issued to those who undergo the training.
