22 Rameswaram fishermen detained by Sri Lankan Navy

The Sri Lankan Navy detained 22 fishermen from Rameswaram along with five boats for crossing the International Maritime Boundary Line, reports reaching here said. The fishermen, who ventured into the sea on Saturday, should have returned to the shore on Sunday morning. Other fishermen who returned to Rameswaram told the police and fisheries authorities that the Sri Lankan Naval personnel surrounded their boats and took them to Talaimannai for interrogation.
