1,862 candidates get ‘Puduvazhvu’

A total of 1,862 persons participated in the district-level employment camp organised under Tamil Nadu State Rural Livelihood Mission and Puduvazhvu scheme here on Saturday.

Four hundred and ninety seven from Perambalur, 354 from Alathur, 741 from Veppur, and 270 from Veppanthattai panchayat unions participated in the camp. Of them, 1,049 were women and 813 men.

LIC of India, K.V.S.Motors, ABT Maruti, ING Vysya, Apollo Hospitals, Omega Health Care, India Business Consultancy, and other companies selected candidates.

In the interview, 868 persons were selected in the first phase. Out of them appointment orders were given to 601 persons by Madusudanan Reddy, Sub-Collector. G.Malarvizhi, Project Director, Tamil Nadu Rural Livelihood Mission, and P. Suda Devi, District Manager, Pudu Vazhvu Thittam, took part in the camp.
