15 women workers of shoe company injured in accident

Fifteen women workers of Pernambut, employed in a shoe company in Ambur sustained injuries after the bus in which they were travelling collided with a Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation town bus. They were on their way to their workplace and the bus was going from Ambur to Pernambut.

The incident occurred at Aithambattu Kootu Road in Oomerabad police station limits on Friday morning.

The injured persons were admitted to the Government Hospital, Ambur.

Among the injured, seven were referred to the Government Vellore Medical College Hospital, Adukkamparai.
