14 IAS officers transferred in TN

In yet another round of bureaucratic reshuffle, the Tamil Nadu government on transferred 14 IAS officers, including three District Collectors.

Sathyabrata Sahoo, presently Member-Secretary of Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu, has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary of Health and Family Welfare Department.

Mohammad Aslam, presently Commissioner of Most Backward Classes and De-notified Communities, had been posted to act as the Commissioner of Indian Medicine and Homeopathy.

C.V. Sankar, now Principal Secretary/Chairman and Managing Director of Tamil Nadu Housing Board, has been shifted and posted as Principal Secretary of Environment and Forests Department.

Dr. R. Palaniswamy, Joint Commissioner of Municipal Administration, has been transferred and posted to act as Director of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Sciences.

Tirunelveli District Collector S. Natarajan moves to the Tamil Development, Religious Endowments and Information Department as its Deputy Secretary while Tuticorin Collector Dr. R. Selvaraj will replace him.

Ashish Kumar, presently Collector of Kanyakumari District, would be the new Tuticorin District Collector.

S. Madumathi, Deputy Commissioner (Health), Corporation of Chennai, has been appointed Kanyakumari Collector.

M. Vijayakumar, Deputy Health and Family Welfare Secretary, is placed at the disposal of the Sports Authority of Tamil Nadu for appointment as its Member-Secretary.

G. Laxmi Priya, Additional Collector (Development) and Project Officer, District Rural Development Agency, Krishnagiri, is placed at the disposal of Corporation of Salem for the appointment as its Commissioner.

P. Amudha, Commissioner of Urban Land Ceiling and Urban Land Tax, will be the new Managing Director of Tamil Nadu Corporation for Development of Women.

Ajay Yadav, Joint Commissioner (Enforcement), Commercial Taxes, Coimbatore is placed at the disposal of the Corporation of Tirunelveli for appointment as its Commissioner.

K. Veeraraghava Rao, Additional Collector (Development) and Project Officer, District Rural Development Agency, Cuddalore is placed at the disposal of Tiruchirappalli Corporation for appointment as its Commissioner.

S. Natarajan, Commissioner for Disciplinary Proceedings, Madurai, is placed at the disposal of the Corporation of Madurai for appointment as its Commissioner.
