Southern Railway will run 124 special trains to clear the extra rush of passenger traffic from Christmas through Makaravilakku,Thai Poosam and Pongal.
Advance reservation for the above trains will commence on Friday.
Train No.06628 Coimbatore - Chengalpattu bi-weekly special will leave Coimbatore at 3.40 p.m. on Sundays and Tuesdays on November 24, 26, December 1, 3, 8, 10, 15, 17, 22, 24, 29, 31 and January 5, 7, 12, 14, 19 and 21, and arrive Chengalpattu at 3.05 a.m. the next day.
Train No.06627 Chengalpattu – Coimbatore bi-weekly special will leave Chengalpattu at 2.45 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays on November 25, 27, December 2, 4, 9, 11, 16, 18, 23, 25, 30 and January 1, 6, 8, 13, 15, 20 and 22, and arrive Coimbatore at 3 a.m. the next day.
Train No.06630 Coimbatore - Chengalpattu bi-weekly special (via. Erode, Tiruchi, Vriddhachalam, Villupuram) will leave Coimbatore at 3.40 p.m. on Thursdays and Mondays on November 28, December 2, 5, 9, 12, 16, 19, 23, 26, 30 and January 2, 6, 9, 13, 16, 20 and 23 and arrive Chengalpattu at 3.05 a.m. the next day.
Train No.06629 Chengalpattu – Coimbatore bi-weekly special will leave Chengalpattu at 2.45 p.m. on Fridays and Tuesdays on November 29, December 3, 6, 10, 10, 13, 17, 20, 24, 27, 31 and January 3, 7, 10, 14, 17, 21 and 24 and reach Coimbatore at 3 a.m. the next day.
Train No.06632 Coimbatore - Chengalpattu weekly Special will leave Coimbatore at 1.15 p.m. on Saturdays on November 30, December 7, 14, 21, 28 and January 4, 11, 18 and 25, and reach Chengalpattu at 1.30 a.m. the next day. Train No.06631 Chengalpattu – Coimbatore weekly Special will leave Chengalpattu at 2.45 p.m. on Sundays on December 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, January 5, 12, 19 and 26, and reach Coimbatore at 3 a.m. the next day.
Train No.06634 Tiruchi - Coimbatore weekly Special will leave Tiruchi at 9.15 a.m. on Thursdays on November 28, December 5, 12, 19, 26 and January 2, 9, 16 and 23, and reach Coimbatore at 2.15 p.m. the same day.
Train No.06633 Coimbatore – Tiruchi weekly Special will leave Coimbatore at 4 a.m. on Wednesdays on December 4, 11, 18, 25, January 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29, and reach Tiruchi at 8.15 a.m. the same day.
Train No.06636 Tiruchi - Coimbatore weekly Special will leave Tiruchi at 9.15 a.m. on Sundays on November 24, December 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, January 5, 12 and 19, and reach Coimbatore at 2.15 p.m. the same day.
