1,238 students receive offer letters

A total of 1,238 students of SCAD Group of Educational Institutions here, who have been recruited by various companies, received ‘offer letters’ on Monday.

Over 55 companies, including a good number of multinational firms, recently conducted campus recruitment at SCAD Group of Educational Institutions, comprising five engineering colleges and two polytechnic college, and selected 1,238 candidates, including 687 Bachelor of Engineering candidates for various jobs.

Jubilant Day

In a simple function, christened ‘Jubilant Day’, organised here, the selected candidates received their offer letters from R. Thambidurai, General Manager, SCAD Group of Institutions, Ignatius Xavier, GM (Finance), Chief Coordinator Jessiah Selvam, Placement Director J.P. Sudhakar and Administrative Officer Krishnakumar in the presence of their parents and heads of their colleges.

Three job fairs

“We organised three job fairs for the benefit of our students during this academic year. The maximum salary offered for the selected students is Rs. 4.50 lakh per annum,” said Mr. Thambidurai.
