The State government on Tuesday transferred 11 IAS officers in a reshuffle mainly among secretaries in various departments.
An official release said S.K. Prabakar, Principal Secretary, Information Technology Department, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Commercial Taxes and Registration Department, in the place of Sunil Paliwal, Secretary, who has been posted as Commissioner of Milk Production and Dairy Development and Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Cooperative Milk Producers’ Federation. He replaces T.K. Ramachandran, who has been posted as Secretary, Information Technology Department.
V. Irai Anbu, Principal Secretary, Personnel and Administrative Reforms (Training), Department has been transferred to the post of Principal Secretary/Commissioner of Economics and Statistics, which was held additionally by M. Balaji. Anita Praveen, Principal Secretary/Chairperson and Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Urban Infrastructure Financial Services Ltd., has been posted as Principal Secretary, Personnel and Administrative Reforms (Training) Department.
Apoorva, Project Director, Tsunami Project Implementation Unit, Rural Development Department and Panchayat Raj Department, will be the new Commissioner of Indian Medicine and Homoeopathy in the place of Dr. P. Senthil Kumar, who was holding additional charge.
Pooja Kulkarni, Joint Secretary, Industries, has been posted as State Project Director, Sarva Sikshy Abhiyan in the place of Dr. C.N. Maheswaran, who has been appointed as Managing Director of the Tamil Nadu Text Book Corporation.
D. Vivekanandan, Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Arasu Cable TV Corporation and Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Road Development Company, is transferred and posted as Project Director, Tamil Nadu State AIDS Control Society vice Rajendra Ratnoo, who was holding additional charge.
J. Kumaragurubaran, Director of Information and Public Relations and Ex-officio Joint Secretary, Tamil Development and Information Department, will hold full additional charge as the Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Arasu Cable TV Corporation.
Rajeev Ranjan, Principal Secretary, Highways and Minor Ports Department, will also hold full additional charge as Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Road Development Company, the release added.
