Eleven Pudukottai fishermen arrived at Nagapattinam Port on board ICGS Vishwast after being released by Sri Lankan Navy on Tuesday.

They were handed over to Coast Guard ship at around noon on Tuesday. They were arrested for poaching activities off Kangesanthurai on June 24 and were remanded by a court.

Thought the fishermen from Kottaipattinam and Jegathapattinam hamlets of Pudukottai were released, their boats were not returned.
