‘₹25.70 crore allocated for court complexes in Sivakasi, Rajapalayam’

Virudhunagar: Tamil Nadu Government had allocated ₹25.70 crore for integrated court complexes in Rajapalayam and Sivakasi, said Minister for Dairy Development K.T. Rajenthra Bhalaji.

In a statement, the Minister said ₹16.16 crore had been sanctioned for the court buildings and six quarters for judicial officers in Sivakasi. The new buildings would come up near the ESI Hospital. The bhoomi puja for the buildings would be conducted shortly, he said.

Similarly, ₹9.54 crore had been allotted for the integrated court complex along with three quarters for judicial officers in Rajapalayam. This would come up near the taluk office in the town.

Already, the construction work for the integrated court complex in Sattur at a cost of ₹3.82 crore was under way. The government was committed to housing all courts in their own buildings, Mr. Bhalaji said.
