Janata Party president Subramanian Swamy on Saturday told the special court hearing the 2G spectrum cases that he intended filing a complaint on the Aircel-Maxis deal.
Another complaint filed by him against the former Telecom Minister, A. Raja, has already been proceeding in the court.
Dr. Swamy told Special Judge O. P. Saini that his additional complaint on the Aircel-Maxis deal was different from the matter under CBI probe; it would be “something related to the Foreign Investment Promotion Board.”
Dr. Swamy, who had sought adjournment on the last date of hearing in May, again sought adjournment.
He said his appeal against Mr. Saini's order, dismissing his plea to summon Union Home Minister P. Chidambaram as a co-accused in his case against Mr. Raja, was pending in the Supreme Court, and he was awaiting its order.
Mr. Saini has now posted hearing of Dr. Swamy's original complaint to August 25.
