Swamy seeks summoning of Raja’s JPC statement

Janata Party chief Subramanian Swamy on Saturday moved a special CBI court seeking the summoning of a written statement filed by the former Telecom Minister, A. Raja, before the Joint Parliamentary Committee on 2G spectrum scam.

In his application filed before Special CBI judge O.P. Saini, Dr. Swamy said: “In order to ensure that all aspects of the case are examined, actual culprits may be booked, tried and punished it is necessary to summon the complete written statement filed by A Raja before the JPC.”

The matter will be heard on July 6.
