An aircraft carrying Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj from Delhi to Ujjain on Monday developed a technical problem and was forced to land at Jaipur airport.

“Took off for Ujjain this morning. Landed in Jaipur due to a technical snag in the right engine of the aircraft,” Ms. Swaraj said on her twitter handle.

The BJP leader flew in another aircraft to Indore from where she is likely to go to Ujjain by road. “Its all fine. Nothing to worry,” Ms. Swaraj said.

BJP has launched its election campaign in poll-bound Madhya Pradesh. Ms. Swaraj, who is MP from Vidisha, will be participating in various programmes for her party.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is taking out a yatra to reach out to the electorate.
