The Peerumade First Class Judicial Magistrate Court on Saturday rejected a private complaint filed by the Suryanelli rape victim pleading for a court order to take a fresh police case against Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman P.J. Kurien.
The court observed that the case had been taken up by the court and there were no circumstances now to order a fresh inquiry as a First Information Report (FIR) was already filed and a probe had been conducted.
The complaint was filed by her counsellor.
